Dr. Tiffany Ruiz is a veterinarian, author, and founder of Wild Wisdom.

For over a decade, she has worked closely with animals and the people who care for them —

learning not only their biology, but their behavior, emotional signals, and resilience. As a

veterinary doctor (VMD), Dr. Ruiz has spent her career helping families better understand their

pets and strengthening the human–animal bond.

Animals are constantly communicating with us — through posture, expression, energy, and behavior. When we learn to pay attention, we discover that they have remarkable lessons to teach.

Wild Wisdom was born from that belief.

Through years of clinical experience and conservation awareness, Dr. Ruiz saw something powerful: the very qualities that help animals survive in the wild — courage, adaptability, cooperation, calm under pressure — are the same qualities children need to thrive in today’s world.

Her work blends animal science, emotional development, and conservation education to help children build empathy, confidence, and resilience — while developing a deeper respect for wildlife and the natural world.

Dr. Ruiz believes that when children learn from animals, they don’t just gain knowledge — they gain perspective. And when that learning connects to real conservation action, children begin to understand their role in protecting something bigger than themselves.

Her mission is to help raise a generation that is emotionally wise, deeply connected, and inspired to care for all living things.
